my skin hurts

hi there, well, I'm about a month and a half into accutane treatment and I have yet to see consistent results. One day my face looks great but i few days later I feel like I'm back at square one...but I figure in due time I will begin to see consistency. My biggest problem right now is that my skin acctually hurts, especially back, I guess the feel is comparable to a sun burn but not really and I have been getting a rash on my hands...little red dots...has anyone else experienced this? If so what did you do to solve the problem? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
