Spots and scaring

I had an enitial breakout from hell. I broke out with over 100 zits my first week on the tane. I'm not exagerating. I was left with alot of scaring and red spots. I was very upset. When I brought it up with my derm he acted like I was over reacting. He pretty much down played it. Some of the scarring has played connect the dots and left me with a crease in my skin that looks like a laugh line. Thats the down side. The up side is many of the red spots have leveled off and faded dramaticly. My derm told me not to use anything but moisturizer. He said my face would not be able to recover properly if I used retin A or had laser treatments. He wants me to wait at least six months. I'm going to wait a year. So I guess the answer to your question is all I used was moisturizer and father time. The little scarring I'm left with I can surely deal with. No longer worrying about the big red zits popping up before important events and excusing myself to drain white heads is a small price to pay for a few scars and red marks.
