Pre-Accutane Questions! How long until I see results?

My dermatologist told me that there would -not- be a "initial breakout" as I have heard about and read in many accounts. When can I expect this breakout? If my acne is mainly nodular and comedonal with a lot of redness (all over but mainly on my cheeks) when will I stop breaking out altogether (I'll deal with the red marks later)?
P.S. I start accutane in 2 weeks (grrrr iPledge 30 day delay) and hope to be clear by mid-August when I leave for college! Please say this is possible! I need my confidence back!
