Initial Accutane Breakouts!

I just started accutane two days ago so I'm still new at all this and very nervous because my skin is not as horrible right now as it used to be and I'm worried that accutane will cause worse breakouts and agony from it! Are the accutane breakouts basicly a given...I mean I asked my dermatologist about it and she said some people experience a flare up in the first 3-4 weeks and some don't. Should I really expect to breakout really badly in the next few weeks or am I being too worried/paranoid? I just can't imagine going back to large cysts when I now only get those occassionally.
Is there a rule of thumb? I mean if your acne is already starting to become a bit more controlled with age does that mean that the likelihood is the accutane will then work wonders (yeild better results)...or will I be back pedalling?
I'm 32 years old with three kids and a husband am I crazy? I just have lived with this horror for so long and am losing all my self-worth over this stupid acne condition!!
