Hi everyone

We're looking for volunteers to help us events, to help set up local groups and if you live near to Sulgrave we need people to help with the routine maintenance of the gardens there. To find out more take a look at the Volunteers Information Page.

Jenny Jones is the Volunteers and Groups organiser so contact here via the contact information on the Volunteers page. if you can help out at Sulgrave with the gardens and other things then email or phone Flick and she'll take your details and put you in touch with the right person to talk to.

More Volunteers for Tatton & BBC Gardeners World Needed

March 5 2008, 4:50 PM

Hello everyone

Just a reminder that in exchange for free tickets to attend the BBC Gardeners World (June 11th -15th) and/or RHS Tatton show (July 23rd - 27th) we're looking for a few more volunteers to give half a day of their time helping on our stall at both these events. You can help out in the morning or afternoon and either before or after your shift you get to wander round the shows at your leisure.

We already have some wonderful volunteers but as these events run over several days we need a few more. If you can help contact Jenny or Flick via email, or give Flick a ring to secure your FREE ticket.

Volunteers Day Saturday 18th October

March 17 2008, 8:33 AM

This year we're planning a free event for all our volunteers to attend, its a day to say 'Thank You' to all our volunteers. The day is free to attend for Herb Society volunteers and lunch will be provided, but feel free to bring along homemade cakes and biscuits to go with the coffee and tea

Programme - Jan Greenland will give a talk and slideshow on 'Edible Herbs From The Ice Age' and also a Cookery Demonstration.

Plus there will be time set aside for volunteers to interact and have questions answered that they may have, re volunteering, time to discuss ideas for future events, and ways to be more involved helping the HS. Volunteers will also have the chance to meet Jenny Jones the Herb Society Volunteers Co-Ordinator and Events Organiser. Plus the new volunteers policy will be discussed. If your interested in attending contact Jenny or Flick.
