I got a copy of Country Kitchen this afternoon and have just sat and read your article, very interesting, Simon wanted the Herb Crusted Chicken for dinner tomorrow, unfortunately we're at a robot event so I won't be able to make it! Not sure I could match your fine example anyway! I will be giving the Knot Biscuits a try though, they look yummy! You'll have to share some more Tudor recipes with us for the website. I bet after reading your article in CK more people will be curious. Have to say that CK printed the wrong address for the Herb Society, at the time of printing it was probably correct but we don't have the P.O. Box address anymore and all mail goes to Sulgrave. I'll email it to you and you can pass it on to them for when they print your next article next month
I have to say there are some lovely looking recipes in this months CK and good to see so many herby dishes, I liked the article on Sweet Violets, some nice recipes again, that was let down by the fact they used a photo of an African violet (Saintpaulia) and not Sweet Violet (Viola odorata). African violet as you know isn't edible, at least I haven't ever found a recipe that includes them, if anyone knows different I'd be delighted to be corrected?
Congrats again Linda, looking forward to your next article and new recipes to try
