I`m thrilled to let you all know that we now have details for the first meeting of the newly formed Dorset Herb Group.

Thursday 7th August at 7.30pm

Community Learning and Resource centre
41--44 King St Wimborne BH21 1 EB
situated within the king st car park, next to the Minster and opposite the Model Town

Our guest speaker will be Penny Dale, who will be talking about Herbs Through the Seasons. Penny has grown herbs for many years and also has a passion for cooking,so it promises to be a very interesting talk. There will also be a slot about the Herb of the Month, which we hope to make into a regular feature as well as a book review.

We are keen to cater for all aspects of herbal interest, so over tha coming months will be having demonstrations and craft workshops.

We will be meeting at the same venue on the first Thursday every month, but after the August meeting , we will start at the slightly later time of 7.45 pm

If anyone has suggestions for speakers or events. then we would be pleased to hear from you.

Linda

Dear Linda,
I am thrilled to let you know, that I am relocating to Dorset at the end of the month, and would very much like to attend future meetings.
I will be in Dorchester, and on the map, Wimborne does not look to far to travel.
I will not be able to attend your first meeting on the 7th August, as I will still be in Kent, but if you let the forum know when the next meeting is, I will definately be there.
Looking forward to it, and lots of luck with the first meeting.
JaneCH

Hi Jane,
How lovely that you are moving to Dorset. Dorchester is about a 40min journey from us. So looking forward to meeting up with you in September possibly.
Regards
Linda
