I have a UTI (possibly gonorrhea/chlamydia) and was wondering was herbs should I take for it? Currently I am consuming raw Aloe vera as I hear it is beneficial in healing gonorrhea.

Hi Mike

Sorry to hear you are unwell. You don't say where in the world you are. If you are in the UK, I would strongly advise you to seek assistance at your local sexual medicine clinic as soon as possible. Their contact details will be in the telephone book or online. They are very helpful and will keep total confidentiality. You don't need to be referred by your GP, but can walk in and ask for advice or telephone for an appointment. There is no charge.

Gonorrhea is a potentially life threatening disease with extremely serious consequences and must be positively diagnosed and treated.

Best wishes

Sarah

Can I echo Sarah's advice. It is realy important you see your general practitioner or attend a sexual health clinic. STI's are notifiable infections and practitioners of herbal medicine are unable to treat them. The orthodox treatment for STIs is realy quite simple and effective.
Once you are getting orthodox treatment a practitioner may advice you on lifestyle changes and your general health with a mind to impacting on your condition, but this would require a thorough investigation by the practitioner and could not be attempted in a forum situation.
