2009 AGM & Conference Travels To Stratford-Upon-Avon

Join us for a weekend in Stratford-Upon-Avon for our AGM & Conference on the 26th & 27th of September. In honour of Stratford's most famous son the theme will be dedicated to discovering more about the herbs that were familiar to William Shakespeare. On the Saturday there will be the AGM for members, plus a talk and a tussie mussie demonstration on the Saturday. Sunday will see us visit Shakespeare's Birthplace and Hall Croft, home of Shakespeare's physician son-in-law John Hall.

Prices and full programme will be announced soon. Keep an eye on our Diary page for further details and booking form. You can also see the other events we have planned for this year on the diary page.

We also have 2 books by Sue Minter our Chairman which are available to everyone, but members get free postage! All proceeds from the sale of these books go direct to the Herb Society see the books section of the online shop for prices and book details.

We'd love to her your thoughts on the latest journal and also on our conference plans? Please note the new members area is not yet active. It's hoped to be able to get this up and running by May 09, sorry for the inconvienience.

I forgot to mention on the front page that Jekka is now giving Herb Society members a 10% discount when you buy from her online shop. The discount code is in the latest journal.

Jekka is also offering HS members free entry to Jekka's Herb Farm Open Days throughout the year (usually £2.00 per person) you can find out details of when they are via the link below. Open day events include pre-bookable herb workshops and lectures given by Jekka for an additional fee.
