Coriander versus Superbugs!

From today's Sunday paper: quote: Portugal's University of Beira Interior team of scientists has found that Coriander oil, taken from the seeds of Coriander, when tested against 12 lethal drug-resistant bacteria, killed most of them and reduced growth of the others. The solution used contained less than 1.6 percent of the oil. Researchers say Coriander oil could be used to cure a host of infections including food poisoning and the superbug MRSA. unquote. I haven't checked this out myself yet,[ie. read the original research and conclusions]but if the report in the sunday paper can be believed as quoted, then this sounds like an excellent thing. Has anyone else heard or read anything on the story? Interesting, I thought.
