I'm pleased to see some people still remember the important role that women had in the developement of our gardenning history, more so, in the fact that Maud Grieves mother Sophie Ann Ballisat\Law was my great aunt, which may explain why my family has had a strong interest and connection to gardenning. My father was a farmer and contract gardener, but his work methods where not convential, he worked with the phases of the moon and kept a record natures activeties, used plants has natural fertilisers or poisons.

Regards

Anthony Ballisat
