I grew up in Los Angeles and we had machines at the LA Zoo, the Museum of Science and Industry, the Hollywood Bowl and I think Disneyland. My collection, sadly, is long gone but the memories are still incredibly rich! I have not seen any in 20 years. I am now an architect and the best part of a recent trip to Chicago was discovering the machines in the Field Museum. I have a client who would go nuts to have a machine in his building. If anyone has a lead for a west coast machine that is for sale, PLEASE let me know. Long live MAR!
