Can you please give me your Ratings on the Storm D Man and a thought about them.

Here is mine:

1) Pat Ouellete - smart will the puck, smart without, may jump up a lot but still very strong.
2) Steve Wowchuck - again good with the puck, takes the body well, shoots the puck well.
3) Tyson Chernask - rushes very well, very good with the the puck, strong in his zone.
4) Riley Emmerson - Makes a great first pass, plays the body very well, has a great shot from the point, may not be the best skater but the most improved on the team so far will be strong for the storm in playoffs.
5) Cam Walters - Hell of a shot, makes a hard pass and clears the front of the net.
6) Chris Forsman - good with the puck but gets knocked off and gets too many blocked shots but still is a good skater and good in his zone.
7) Tyler Centrone - Big guy strong on the puck, good in his zone, rushes well, but is also a very good forward, should be playing up front.

Forsman is by far the 7th defence man on our team, he should play midget, there is no way he is ready for this league, he is too weak, and not tuff enuf

no one on your team is tough enough for this league

obviously you do not play on the team..and probably do not even live in CR... nice try...

Forsman is a good mobile D-man who makes a good first pass, has good hockey sense and has a great offensive upside. He lacks the physical part of the game but makes up for it with other skills. A first year D-man with the points he has and with how solid he has played definitly deserves to be in the league.

I played with Forsman and he is one of the best d-men with the puck i have seen.

The Question was rate the defence, there is no glory in playing defence, you have to play tuff, be able to hit, play physical, and pass, forsman can only do one of those things well, it's great if the defence cam chip in a couple points here and there, but there is no glory in playing defence like I already stated, once playoffs come around I think he will have a hard time adjusting to the play, and thats was counts. that is why he is the #7 obvious choice

Who won the Norris and Conn Smythe last year. Has Nicklas Lidstrom ever layed out a big hit or gotten into a fight. My point exactly. You don't need all the tools to be a great player who just need to use the ones you have well.

i don't think family should rate your kid. just because yor kid is on the team doesn't make him number 1.

ppl shouldnt lip off their own team mates, thats harsh.. maybe some people should just keep those comments about foresman to themselves. he's improved a lot.

So, the last post here was January 3, regarding the Storm Defense, now lets have a look at who Powell River protected on this club and note the differecnces

look at the birth dates - they protected the babies - Centrone couldn't be protected as he is an AP

I think pat and steve are our top defencemen. Riley is a good checker though. Aaron Roberts is pretty good when he comes up. I think we have some of the best defenceman in the league though!
