Actually the shots were 39-30 in Parksville's favor. Justin Foote had stellar game in the Storm goal in earning the shutout. Parksville had some great scoring opportunties, but one of things Foote did so well Friday night was not allow that many rebounds. Plus his defence allowed him to see most of the first shots. The Ouellet goal was amazing he picked up the puck in his own end with nine seconds left. He crossed centre ice with about six seconds to go, shot it in then Jaques or Centrone, I'm not sure, beat the Parksville player to the puck and sent it into the Generals slot. Ouellet was there and he one-timed it in just as the buzzer sounded. Must have been .1 of a second left on the clock. Parksville didn't argue.
The Storm were without six players, Cam Walters, Tyson Chernask, Jon Thompson, Garret Soper, Cam McLachlan and Andre Lambert.

Absolutely....congratulations Justin for a job extremely well done! With nearly a third of the team scratched for the night...what a game really. Zee's so right about the rebounds--killers if you let them go. Keep it up everyone. Good job, as well, Aaron. You fit right in out there!!

The depth of the storm is awesome. Six guys out of the line up who account for one hundred goals(parksvilles whole team has 154) and they still won!
