So I read that the Storm are looking for their sixth title, but is this the most successful Storm team ever? (I'm guessing not). How have the previous Island champs done, once they get off the Island? I'd think this could get pretty frustrating, to get to the Big Show 5 (or6) times, but never quite do it.

Why wouldn't this be the most successful storm ever? They definatley have proved themsleves this year if you ask me, and did they not tie the record of last year with wins? I guess we'll have to wait and see when they take Vic, and the interior teams come here.. I think this year can be good. I mean comon, half the team is 16-17 year olds; making a great statement if you ask me.

If they won in 98-99, there first in this series of 5 championships, you could argue that they haven't reached the success of that first year. That first year would have been their most successful. The only yardstick you can use is how far does a team go in the playoffs...regular season league wins don't mean anything.

Yes, I do agree, the teams havn't gone as far as the first year team. But what other jr b team do you know wins 5.. (almost 6) years in a row and island championship? From what I do recall.. the last time storm had troube in the playoffs had to have been... not last year but the year before.. when storm was down 3-1 in the KP series, and came back to win it (with tremendous help from NOJO, i may add)... so what im saying is i would be proud to say that i've played on a jr b hockey team that has been the champs for 5 years.. regardless of how far they go after that. This year is different.. they're going all the way.
