Anyone not picking Storm in 3?

Gonna have to go with Storm in 3. Nothing against Victoria, they have a great team, but the Storm is looking pretty strong right now.

I think it will be a good series. From the way the southern fan was talking... It seems he/she is very confident that Vic will take it this year. It will either be Storm in 4, or storm in 5. From the drive vic is on right now, i'd think they'd take at least one game, if they're lucky. I was wondering why this year the final isn't best out of seven? Last year it was? Anyhow, good luck boys, go storm go.

The reason it is not best of 7 is because the powers that be waited until the All-Star break to get their act together and come up with a "well thought out plan". Now that they realize time will not permit a full playoffs since the Storm will be starting the 3 game series against the KIJHL Champ on the 28th they are amending the playoffs to cover up the mess up.

Glad to see the confidence CR is by far the strongest team in BC. This won't be much of a series, I predict high scores by CR, and a real let down for the fans looking for competitve games, no offensive to Vic, but really this is CR, were are Champs!

basto, you're tough to figure out. on the other forum you're saying Vic can't be counted out cause they came back from being down 2-0; and on here you're saying it won't be much of a series. you wouldn't be a car salesman would you, cause you seem to tell the audience exactly what they want to hear.

We played the cougars in the first round and can honestly say that it was the best team i've ever played against. the playoffs are all about scoring and goaltending, and vic has the top scorers and goaltenders. we could put up a fight in a couple of games because we also had top goaltending, however the physical presence that campbell river has to offer will be over-shadowed by the cougars speedy forwards. Try this one on for size, cougars in 4. they'll drop the first because of the intimidating storm crowd, but they're an impossible team to beat at home. and once they get started on a winning streak, it's all over.

Ok so i am confused basto? dr evil says you play for vic. but you say that storm will dominate?? that's alright that you think that way, but shouldn't you have a little more faith in your team, if u are who they say you are? Please set your story straight.

I can't see how basto plays for Vic.....they were on the team bus the time that last post was sent.

I am basto and I own a car lot in Parksville, I don't sell cars, I own the lot, so whatever I watch some of the teams and I think CR is ok, but I like Comox and they got knocked out. I think VC have more skilled and better players but they are tired and don't have the same type of players as CR who all think that they will give up everything to get to the next level. They (CR) players are not aware that they are just a pin in the wheel of a Club that wants to make a buck off them, being a car salesman I've seen this before and good of you to recognize it!!!!

It doesn't matter who wins if they can get by the KIJHL then they will have to face either ABBY or Richmond. The Storm nor Victoria have the goaltending to go the distance. Both Abby and Richmond have experienced 20year old tenders that will make the difference.
