Are there any ex-Storm players eligible for the NHL draft this saturday? I'll look for some if I have time, but I"ll post here if any guys get drafted.

Stoner is listed in the seventh round, but you never know he could go higher.

I'll bet that very few players actually get signed this year due to impending labor troubles. Many of the late rounders will be in 2005's draft and will be ranked much higher. Kind of like Jarret Stoll last year.

Two former Peninsula Panthers were selected in the draft. Ryan O'byrne and Mike Hamilton.

That's great! Nice to see more future NHLers from the Island.

Stoner wasn't picked in the draft. Hopefully that'll mean more exposure in the following year and a higher pick in '04
