I'd feel alot better if somebody else would list the results...everytime I do it stirs somebody wrong and they end up trying to make it look like I'm bragging on my dogs...so I'm gonna sit idle on this one guys!I can humbly and proudly say I'm very pleased with my dogs! Thanks!

Out of 8 trophies the southern boys brought 5 home. Good job guys. Thats a long road trip and wayyyy lotta box time for those dogs. My hats off to you guys and those studs you hauled up there are top of the heap in this ole country boys eyes.
Brian
ps for any dog to make that kind of trip and spend that kind of time in a box and be competetive much less win says a lot for the dogs and their keepers. Thats a huge amount of stress. Congratulations!

I am not trying to be mean, but how can you get a pound for pound trophy in the pullmaster 70 and over class when it is based on most weight pulled rules and not on body pound? Only 70 and under is pound for pound rules.
Like I said I am not trying to be mean or ugly, I think you did a great jub at Nationals, I am only not understanding the extra trophy award.

Pound for Pound!

Angie,
I think we went thru this very same thing last year...going off of MWP has nothing at all slightly irrelevant to a body pound trophy and likewise I'm not trying to be mean as well...ther were 7 dogs in the PullMaster class and overall my dog pulled the most weight pulled and MWPP...why should'nt he get body pound...there are nothing in the rules regarding PullMaster class that excludes a do heavier than 70 lbs. from getting body pound, there is in the regular class but not in the Pullmaster class...so your basically saying that my boy "Edge" even though he outpulled everything in site should be punished for getting body pound over the smaller dogs...anybody that has pulled even one year understands how hard it is for a large dog to body pound even a dog 10 pounds lighter, let alone forty-fifty pounds lighter! So why in the world would you send a 40 lb dog home with a body pound trophy that a 84# actually won...tell me the common sense logic behind that one please,Angie? If we are in this for the dogs, let's be honest...how could that be justified even remotely??? Seems everytime one of my dogs does something worth be recognized somebody gets a red ass from it...if that indeed is the case...just keep pounding your fueling a feeding frenzy from me and motivating me more than you will ever imagine...just keep hammering, please! That done it for me guys...the talk is over,it's SHOWTIME! Oh yeah just one last note...not only did Nature Boy take MWP...but if not for those poorly written AADR rules he would have taken MWPP of the entire Nationals as well! But since it went to a 70 lb and under dog,my sidekick took care of that one and brought it back home to the Lone Star State as well! Thanks haters...keep hating and I'll keep motivating!God Bless...have a good day!
My goodness Angie you make it sound like I paid off somebody or something...what's up with that...sure hurts my heart,girl...coming from you and all! Guess that shows me where I stand in Okie town! The feud is on Hatfields & McCoys gotta love that format...I'll stay on this side of that ORANGE Red River! Thanks!

James,
There was never any disrespect intended towards you at all about anything. Regardless of whose dog did what I was just questioning the Pound for pound trophy award for the over 70 class. To me that award is like the Most weight pulled award that ADBA got rid of. It is nice to be able to tell people that "My dog got Most Weight Pulled at Such and such show." It is always great when a Big Dog (over 80 pounds) gets a Pound for Pound award. Big dogs are sometimes overlooked in the pull aspect when it comes to P.P.
I am glad you got "over all body pound" in the show. It looks good for a big dog. Some people dont even understand pound for pound when you try to explain it to them (non bulldog people).
Like I said before there was Never any disrepect intended at any time. I like you and you are a very nice man and have always been nice to me. I am sorry if I worded things and it was taken out of content. I am in way bashing your dogs (Sheltons maybe- I did not know dead steers could pull HEHEHEHEHEHE), you have done a great job with all your dogs and I comend you for it.

Yes Angie it is GREAT when a dog 70+ takes MWPP. A/A Kracker took it in the Ace class in Kansas, it was awesome. Then Kilo had to show him up in the regular class... I love the competition here in the heartland, best in the country. Good luck and safe travels to all at Nationals.

Puller you must be thinking your visiting another board. If you notice this is a positive board with a number of very knowledgable dogmen and women who frequently contribute their time and share their experience. Feel free to jump in and talk dogs, show your dogs or whatever. Please do us all a favor and keep your insults and juvenile commentary to yourself or place it elsewhere where it may be welcome. If you want to pop off and insult somebody do it while they are standing there.
Thanks

Christine,
The dog that finished second to "Nature Boy" was a 128# Dagger dog named "Dually" he is from Wisconsin...the dog you are refering to was in the 70-90# class and was 2nd in that class not the 90 & over class! He is a good looking dog though and no I did not take any pictures...I was way too busy pulling dogs...maybe somebody else did though!

You are right James. I am sorry, I knew he was in that lighter weight class, but was told he pulled second to Natureboy and didn't think. I didn't think you had pictures, but someone posted they had some pictures and thought they may have one of Morgan. Thanks, and congrats on Natureboy's win. That is awsome.
