Jason,
I'm already pre-registered for the UKC Nationals weight pull in Denton,TX or I would be going...I made this show last year, nice country...if you go and take "Kilo" & "Kracker" you will destroy the field...they do not have any dogs up there that can even remotely hang! Good luck...you will definitely bring back 4 trophies for sure!Them dogs of yours are beasts anywhere they go anyway...so I guess it really don't matter huh!

Jason,
I understand that one better than anyone...sounds like you still had a great weekend and a very productive one...your dogs are a force to be reckoned with on any day at any place...you have done an awesome job of training them, working them and getting the most out of them...see you this weekend,I've done all I can now it's time to see if we can hang with the playing field!Good luck to all!

R2, Do I have to, Her mighty and T-Spoon are incredible dogs. I hope its awhile before our dogs compete against them again. The track was a doozy. It was laser level flat, but had no pad, no crease between boards and no nap in the carpet. The dogs had to remember not to work with their nails but flat footed. It was a great show, very friendly people. And a clean show site.

Kaye,
We had a good time and my dogs did okay...on Friday "Edge" took MWP and made a strong run at MWPP,"Nature Boy" was second and "Mr.Rip" took 1st in the 125# class....on Saturday it was a dogfight it came down to time and "Tank" took MWP,"Mike" was 2nd,"Nature Boy" 3rd and "Edge" 4th place they give 1st-4th at UKC...they would not let me pull my little dog because he showed up about 2 minutes after registration closed... Mike Hansen ended up taking body pound on Saturday with 46%...on Sunday "Tank" took home all the marbles and "Edge"& "Nature Boy" 2nd-3rd..."Mr.Rip" was in the mix as well those were the last 4 dogs standing and "Tank" was definitely the better dog ...however on Sunday I was able to take Hardwood's "Bad A** Bubba" and get the overall body pound trophy "Bubba" was 32# and pulled 1570# 49.06% in 12.45 seconds and I pulled him out! I was very proud of "Bubba" many thanks to Shelton Medlock for giving me a chance to pull this awesome little boy! Thanks!

Should also mention that I would like to congratulate Dee with "Tank" and his efforts...Dee is always a class act anywhere he goes and "Tank" is a force to be reckoned with on any turf...Richard Hughes got him a National Championship as well with Jr... way to go guys...we had a good time pulling dogs and watching them Longhorns roll!!!!!We desperately need to get more people from ADBA involved with the UKC and make a push for some changes, there rules are ridiculous!

Sounds like a plan James. All our dogs are triple registered. Post next years schedule for UKC as soon as its available. I'm glad UKC got to see some great pull dogs, and not just those that claim to have gone as far as they can in ADBA and had to go to UKC.teehee
