I just found this great double wide trailer for rent-and can have all my pits out in the country-which is an advantage because i live in a trailer park right now and the only problem is there are stickers everywhere.
Please help me- I want to get rid of the stickers and I dont know how?

the best way to get rid of them is to not get them ever.
and keep areas where they are mowed so they dont come to seed the sticker itself is the seed if you keep the plant from coming to seed you can keep it under control ,the only other solution is a controled spraying with a chemical like Round Up Pro (not the kind you can buy at home depot) in which you would need to spray only the sticker plants because it will kill everything.

you will have to treat your soil.take a sample to a gardening place and have it analyzed. they will tell you what you are lacking.stickers are prevalent when the soil is lacking a main ingrediant.you can also mowe real often. the sticker pods don't come out until the grass gets a little tall.i had to treat mine and put some weed killer on it and it goes away. hope this helps..Jason

you are literal stuck with the old stickers, until you have tracked them into your house or stomped them into the ground. Either way its not fun. tehe. Potassium is lacking in the soil to create the environment for sandbur (sticker) growth. So you can add that to the soil, AND NEXT SEASON KEEP THE GRASS CUT. Anything over 2.5" and you'll be looking at sandburs. We have to mow atleast twice a week.. As for now, you can always drag some old blankets around areas to pick the stickers up, that will keep them from seeding. JMO

Go to the co-op and get 2-4-D,it will kill all the weeds and only grass will come back.We spray every year and throw out grass seed but it wont help untill spring. Jim

Thanks for the info-I'm moving and this is the first time I have to take care of the grass- and the people let the grass grow high but they just mowed it-anyways thanks for all the info -I really appreciate it.
