I have two dogs that refuse to gain weight. I have wormed them and feed them double the amount of food than the rest of the kennel. Any suggestions???

Get the checked for Tapeworm. If you are not using the Wormer specific to kill Tapeworm then it won't matter how many times you worm them.

I use a wormer from the vet who told me that the wormer kills all worms internally. The name of it is Panacur. Has anyone used this brand before?

To my knowledge there is no "silver bullet" kills em all wormers for dogs.

I and many others have used with great success the following regimine:

1st of the month administer ivomectin in the proper dose
15th of the month administer oxyfenbendazole (also sold as goat wormer)

Dont give them both doses on the same day or near days...spread the time out at least 2 weeks.

I have never had a problem with tape worms ...

keep the poop picked up in the dogs area this is very important!!!! Keeping your dogs in a clean environment is the best step in good k9 health

Best of Luck to you
Brian

ps if your two dogs are litter mates you should also consider the fact that some dogs in particular pit bulls are just lean and never get "thick". I have owned and still own tight bred gameline dogs that regardless of the food amount they never gained excess weight. Primarily because of high metabolism and high activity levels combined with genetics.
