IF YOU REGISTERD TEJAS KENNELS WITH ADBA? THEN THEY ALLOW OTHER KENNELS LIKE TEJAS FELLON KENNELS TO BE REGISTERED?
NOW THEY SAY AS LONG AS THEY HAVE A WORD IN FRONT OR BACK IT'S OK.
TO ME IT'S JUST ENOTHER EXAMPE OF THEM SELLING OUT.
DO I HAVE A RIGHT TO BE UNHAPPY?
DOES IT BENIFIT SOMEONE TO HAVE A NAME CLOSE TO SOMEONE ELSE TO GET ATTENTION?

I would be very unhappy. They should not allow any kennel names that resemble or copy someone elses. This becomes very confusing for people looking to do business with a reputable breeder.

At what point does everybody throw in the towell and leave the sinking ship ADBA?? Id say she has been at a heavy lisp for a while now and sinking is just inevitable.

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY CLUB OR SHOW AND PULL EVENTS.
WHAT ARE THE CHANCES. THAT THE TRIED TO REGISTER TEJAS KENNELS. THEN ADDED FELON , BECAUSE ADBA SAID THATS TAKEN.

I WENT WITH A NAME THAT WAS DIFFERENT. I FILL THAT THERE WILL BE PEOPLE WHO ARE CONFUSED.
ALSO THEY HAVE STAFFS. I HAVE 5-6 GENERATIONS OF STAFFS. PEOPLE DO KNOW ME WORLD WIDE SO IT MAKES IT A ISSUE.
BUT THEIR IS VERY LITTLE I CAN DO. SO I JUST MUST LIVE WITH IT.
ADBA HAS SOLD US OUT OVER AND OVER.
THE SAD THING IS THEIR ISN'T A REGISTERY THATS MUCH BETTER. UKC SOLD US OUT WHEN FRED MILLER DIES. THEY HIRED A AKC REP. BECAME ALL BREED. BUT ATLEASE THEY ARE STILL LISTENING TO THE PEOPLE. THEIR IS A NATIONAL CLUB. THAT HAS A VOICE.

Richard,have you contacted ADBA to discuss your concern? This other kennel may be a here today gone tommorrow. We dont always agree with ADBA,but it comes more near trying to keep it real than any other registry. YIS,Bob

The ADBA is not only following their policy but also the Federal and State Policy. I you go down to the tax office and get a DBA you will have to find the next closes match to what you want your business name to be. So I guess it would be up to the owner to ensure that his product stands above all other competitors. JMO

yes i talked to adba. what they say now. is different then when i was forced to buy the kennel registration. if i register tejas. no one can ever use it.
now the play stupid. tejas fellon is not the same as tejas. but what name will you remember tejas or fellon.

i am madder at adba then the other kennel. but i just hope it never causes a problem.

Dee how would you fill if some one chose Harderwood kennels or Real Hardwood pits. it would be unacceptable wouldn't it.

That that person may have decided to use that name for their own personal reasons that meant something to them. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you hear that these folks are are trying to steal your shine and take credit for what you have done. I understand where you are coming from Rich. We all want to stand out from the rest? All of the technicalities make if almost impossible so you have to put in more work. Just remember that You are TEJAS KENNELS and far from Tejas Fellons or whatever.
