Team Texoma got it done this weekend down at Sorrento, La. ADBA pull. Congratulations to every dog and trainer that placed. People there are some good young dogs out there and a few older ones that just keep on doing what they do well. My wife and I had a great time hanging out with all of the club members and a special thanks to Cajun Country for putting on another awesome show. Hope everyone made it home safely. I can't wait until the next pull.

Adrian,
I echo those very same sentiments and feelings...it's always a blast to get together with fellow friends, pull some dogs and have a great time...I'm very proud & happy for you, your girl will be a force to be reckoned with for years to come...I'd have to say that Angel & Bones were the two most impressive dogs I've seen come along in quite some time...it's just getting better & better...those days of riding a horse till he dies are done,if you do,your missing out on the fun...there were numerous other good, very good dogs present and they all pulled very good...I'd like to take the time to personally thank and congratulate each and every member present from Team Texoma...man ya'll are like family to me and I love every single one of ya'll...it makes my day just to be a part of such a fine group of devoted hard working folks...it makes a old man like myself feel young again!LOL!

I would also say that I love being apart of a team that is there for each member like family. Any question or problem that anyone has each member is there with help. I`m very proud to be in a club like this. Congratulations to everyone we all did a great job.

Dee,
I threw ol' Bubba out there in the mix and that judge would not even look at me twice and my boy made those other dogs look sick as far as conditioning went...I'm not a conformation junkie and that's why...too much politics for me...it's all about who you know and all I know is I'm not rubbernecking nobody...maybe if Missy Villines had been the judge she could have spotted that Bubba is the real deal...I'm proud of how he looks and many thanks to Shelt Dawg for letting me work him...he is in top notch condition I guarantee that, now I have to get his mind right!

It is kind of discouraging to know that you put all that work into conditioning a dog and not place b/c the judge does not like a the way your dog looks whatever. No disrespect to the judges at all. That's why I like weightpull b/c after all the work is put in you pretty much know if your regimine is working. You might not always win but you have more room for adjustments/corrections.

I appreciate it guys. Without you guys I would not even have had the opportunity to compete in weightpulling. I'd like to thank Shelton and Matt for helping me along with Angel's training. If it wasn't for Shelton I would not even have this dog. If it wasn't for Matt we would not be as motivated as we are to go out and work and progress the way she has. We still have a long way to go, in my mind, to be where we can attain our ultimate goal, but until then you better believe we will be working. I hope that everybody is motivated! I believe that the Dewey APA show will be another classic and hopefully we can be ready for it. Thanks to my kennel partners and congratulations to them and TJ because before long he will be "stunting like his daddy."

we had a real good time down in La. good food and good fun! With no real work going into this show (due to my hand accident and riddicks surgery) both kandi and riddick pulled off wins. Kandi took 1st on saturday and 1st on sunday in the 55-65lb class barely missing body pound by less than 1/2 a percent both days at 58lbs. Riddick came in 3rd on saturday and 2nd on sunday. I cant wait to see what they can do when my hand heals and they get some work put in!

congrats to everyone who placed.!!
