Hello Everyone!
My dogs are ABDA. Yes, they are game bred! But, the dog is what you make him or her to be! You can take a game bred dog and make a killer out of him. You can take a wtpull dog and make a killer out of him!
People have to understand that as owners of these fine animals it is up to us! It is how we raise our dogs, train our dogs, and above anything else: HOW WE TEACH THE PUBLIC ABOUT OUR DOGS!
I take my GAME BRED KILLERS to the pet stores, feed stores, trades days so that they can be seen by the public. I let kids pet them. Grown people pet them. So, that people who see that they are pit bull Terriers and they can be very friendly, trusted, and are trainable to be out in public.
I have a 2 1/2 LONZO bred male that I take to the park, and play frisbe with. When he was about 14 months old, I took him to the BARK-O-ROMA in Longview. I entered him in the newspaper fetching contest. Yes, you heard the air go out of people when I let him off his lead to go and get the paper. He run down there to get it! But stoped and looked around at all the people and the dogs and turned and came back to me. as if to say dad, i'm scared!
But, I promise you! I could tease him a few times! and he could become one of the meanest ones out there! So, all I'm saying: AS OWNERS OF THESE DOGS, AND WE WANT TO BE ABLE TO KEEP THEM, THEN IT IS UP TO US!!!!
THAT IS MY NICKLES WORTH AND HOPE EVERY ONE OUT THERE UNDERSTANDS WHAT IS AT STAKE FOR ALL OF US! AND THE DOGS WE ALL LOVE SO DEARLY!
