I know I'm not a resident of Texas, but I emailed them anyway. And included the following links. I pray someone will take the time to check out the links and see what responsible owners are doing with the breed.
In talking with a couple of BSL fighters here in Oklahoma, I see that in the future the lawmakers will be including the breeder in being responsible for the actions of the dogs they sell and to whom they sell animals to. Most of us here pay attention to who and where we sell/place our dogs. We ARE NOT the problem. But we all know someone who bought a dog and began breeding it like there was no tomorrow. All they see are dollar signs. (this is not my thoughts or opinions, this is what was conveyed to me)

I hope that it helps too. We should all do that for each other whether or not the response is tallied. It is no secret that there is power in numbers so the more opositions we flood their office with the better for us and our breed.
