ADBSI NATIONALS - Bulldog Haven APBTC
Saturday, September 15, 2007 - Sunday, September 16, 2007
Location: Dallas County Fairgrounds, Adel, IOWA
The Bulldog Haven APBTC will be hosting the 2007 ADBSI Nationals at the Dallas County Fairgrounds in Adel, IOWA. All puppy classes, Best Puppy, Champion of Champions, and 55 lb and Under weight pull classes will compete on Saturday. Adult classes, Best of Show and Best of Opposite Sex, and 55 lb and Over weight pull classes will compete on Sunday.

i have never been to iowa but is this the same place that couldnt setup their own track and work the weight pull. call me crazy, i hope things work out up there, i will be there nevertheless i hope it all goes good.

I AM HOPING TO GO. THE IOWA CLUB STEPED UP TO HOST IT.
SHI+. TEXOMA MEMBERS CAN'T EVEN GET TOGETHER TO PLAN A SHOW.
IT'S STILL UP IN THE AIR.

Well mike perkins is going to be setting up our club track there so it should be good. Dont complain if you arn,t doing it yourself. This is alot of work for anyone involved.

Just so you know most of the dates that we looked at were either already taken or in the middle of the summer. If we put on a show in the middle of the summer you will be one of the first one complaining.
I am speaking on my behalf and not any other Texoma club member. You don't have to get on here and bash the club like that.

you are right bob it does take more than club members to put on a show. but if you are hosting nationals you should have the man power to run it all. this club has never ran a weight pull. you are right, mike is setting up the track but he is not runing the show for them. its going to be like all there other shows if you show up to pull then you have to run it.

There IS more to putting on a show than what you see when you show up to pull. Richard, when was the last time you helped prepare for or run a show?? Not of all of can sit at home on our fat asses all day!!! You know the building we were using was destroyed by last years storm and has not been rebuilt. Hey Richard that was a bogus move to make that statement here on the message board about the club you are a part of. I know I am in La. and can't make it to the meetings and such but I will definitely try to show up and help as I have in the past. Texoma is a good club and they are constantly helping out others with their shows so for you to come on here and make a bogus statement them is in my eyes a some HO S***!!! Hope you keep up the good work.

Its not our job to pull it off its there job. They are the ones that wanted nationals. They should not rely on everybody else to do it for them nobody else does. If your not the one hosting nationals you should not have to do all the work. We are not the adba the Greenwoods are and they could care less what we want.As long as they get there MONEY thats all they care about not us.

I have to agree with John. We went up there last year for their show and we had a good time. But, when it came time for the pull someone from the club said "We need some people to work the cart." And this is when the two other club members sitting there said "Well that's our cue to go." and walked out. I truly hope they have everything lined up for nats because it is their responsibility, and not anyone elses. Now I know we all help each other at different times at shows and that's no big deal. But this is nationals.
