For those of you who have been dying to have your say against Wesselhoff (you know, the Oklahoma state rep who thinks a pit bull is a “land shark… a walking time bomb” and who is on a personal crusade to ban them all from OK), now’s your chance!



The talk show “Speak!” (KTOK 1000 AM, Oklahoma City ) will have Wesselhoff on the program this Sunday and they will be discussing pit bulls and BSL.

The hosts are on OUR side, but they need us to help them. One of the hosts, Pat, has advised me that Wesselhoff plans to have his supporters (BSL supporters) flood the lines with phone calls. Here’s a great chance to fight back. Pat encourages out-of-staters to call as well, so everyone – please call in!



And remember the fundamentals when talking about BSL:

1) Be polite

2) Be factual

3) Avoid: “My dog is soooo sweet and would never hurt anyone.” (Wesselhoff counters: “Until something goes off in their brain.”)

4) Turn the argument around. Sordid story about pit bull attack victim? Counter with sordid non-pit bull attack story, and point out that BSL discriminates against dog attack victims too!



Go kick some Wesselhoff booty, ya’ll!

Well, I got through and just got to ask a few questions to the rep. but as soon as I asked when he was going to come to a show he avoided it and they hung up on me. It did'nt really surprise me.
