when your wife talks a bunch of mess!! My wife is a 2002 graduate of Odessa Permian and I am a 2002 graduate of Odessa High ( Yes there is another football team in Odessa!!) Well, at half it is 28-7, Permian! i know there really isn't a chance that OHS is gonna win, but dang, she keeps on rubbing it in!!!!

Way back in my day Permian was a powerhouse...we made a trip out to Abilene to play Mojo at Shotwell Stadium in '73 quarterfinal playoff game...we ended up advancing on penetrations 3-2 after a 10-10 deadlock,but Mojo was the stuff back then!We ended up bowing out of the playoffs in the Semi's against eventual state champion Tyler John Tyler and Earl Campbell team... 22-7 and the following week Tyler John Tyler thumped Austin Reagan I believe if my memory serves me right in that title game...all thru the 70's,80's and well into the 90's Mojo was majical in the Fall...it's nice to see them rise back up and be a contender again,brings back wonderful memories...back then when the playoffs came around by the time it got past regionals and you played in a playoff game it was subject to be downright nasty in terms of weather conditions,especially out in west Texas...20-30 degree weather and snow flurries was not unusual at all...it's not like that now!
Sorry Johnny...the poor ol' Broncos never could handle MOJO back in the day!
