What I don't understand is how do all these athletes keep popping up out of no where in the NFL. When I went to high school we were the best team to go through there. And ever since then no one has set records like we did in weight lifting or stats and yet more kids get scholarships.
I've been to about 6 or 7 high school football games since I've graduated (02') and I have yet to see kids as big and powerful as around the (99'-02) area...maybe it's just our area...but I know its not....they (college) must get em raw and weak now days and by the time they get to be seniors they are NFL worthy...I dont know....I just know the teams in and around my county aren't near as good or strong.
I went to school with Dusty Dvoracek and he was one of the strongest guys in my time of high school ball but still no one like him is around much in high school.
I mean I played Dusty not went to the same high school....My first game as a center when I was a junior was a tuff one against him...but after the first half I had a few stale mates with him. |
