What bloodline do you think is the gamest of them all, out of large and small lines? And what makes you feel that way about that particular line?

I'm not sure....

I think what H.Heinzel and F. Boudreaux had back in the late 50's and 60's were the smartest dogs and they had some of the best producers of the some of the best game dog champions.....Of course E. Tudor had a little something to do with it also...lol.

All I know is what is in books and what a couple of the "old" dog men have told me. Their is nothing better than listening to a man that has been around with the dogs for 40 plus years talk about their stories. One thing is for sure though.....papers weren't that important back then cause they put what they wanted on some of them just like some do today...but just like a great dogman once said," the people who needed to know....knew"

First off, a good dog is where you find it. The gamest dog I have ever seen with my own eyes is Gambler's Virgil, who was bought at a flea market for I believe 100.00.(I could be wrong about that, but it wasnt much over that) and in my opinion he has a horrible looking ped. I guess what I am trying to say is that most all of your popular bloodlines have the ability to throw seriously game dogs, but it is honestly up to the dog, So get whatever line you like in particular and see how it turns out. If you dont want to take the risk of a pup not turning out, then of course buy an older dog.

Now if I had to answer your question I would say that I like the Mayfield bred dogs, but not by themselves. The people that have bred these lines have strived on keeping them pure, and the end result has been that they are bred way to tight and have very low percentages along with health issues from breeding to tight and hitting recessive genes. So I like them crossed with other lines and I have seen some amazing atheletes when crossed. (one of the best examples I had of this was a mayfield dog bred heavy on plumbers alligator to a double bred son of snakemans pedro.) I have heard good things about the banjo dogs and the earl jr dogs to. Best of luck.

So anon...how do come to the conclusion to run your mouth will hiding your name? I understand your point very well if the dog hasn't been tested but still grow some cajones and post your name with that statement......

The sad thing is that most of all the anon posts are always from someone that everyone on the board knows or knows of....they are just cowards that like to start crap.

To both of the anon posters :
If you are stupid enough to ask that question and expect a responce then you should get out of the dogs right now .

He is the best at anything he does .
show
catch
hang time
gameness
stamina
drive
pick one

He has not lost a hog yet .
and I am pretty sure who one of you is and you cant even compare so shut up about it.

I did not say anything bad about anyones dogs so if you are going to talk smack about mine you better be able to back it up everyone knows where I live feel free to come by.

if your stupid enough to post that you have the "gamest" dog around and post your name and contact info then you're the idiot,, or just a liar with a dog w/out a scratch on it.

If you read my reply you will see that I never said he was the "gamest" 50 lber I said he was the best it was your ignorant ASSumption that brought you to the conclusion that I must be talking about illegal activities that you participate in .

you still refuse to sign your name because you are a punk coward.
not because you are trying to hide your magnificent dogman status LOL.

sean "the liar", here's what i put in my post...
"she's free so i can find a good place for her"
if i had her for sale X amout of $ i would only have a couple "homes" to choose from and i'd have to hold onto her for awhile til she sold. i wanted more "homes" to choose from so i could find a good place for her.

i posted her on here because some of you mastiff owners take good care of your dogs. i was gonna give you a chance to own a real apbt.

lance, you wouldn't have to worry about that if clowns like sean would quit lying about stuff they know nothing about.

i've posted too much already on this board. i'm outta here.
