There is a company that is about 2 blocks from me that is a contract company that replaces parts of rail roads. They have stacks of iron and brackets and cross ties all the time. I've been meaning to get by there and ask if they would sell some of it and explain what for.

If I get a chance to this coming up week then I post up the prices.

I talked to the man that ran the yard up the road and he said he had a bunch of smaller peices around a foot or two. He said he knows that he has a few around 3' or so too. He also said there are some 12 footers out there that you could cut to whatever lenth.

I don't know what you pay for it but he said he would charge around 40 to 50 bucks a peice for them. That seems kind of stout if I understood him right.

I think you could get quite a bit of the smaller ones for cheaper though. Not sure...I guess I can go back up there and get him to show me and price them based on weight if you want me too.

Let me know

I've been thinking of ways for a long time to make the whole weight thing easier for people.

I need ideas on how to hold sand or concrete.

Make sure it is a way that is easy to handle on the cart too.

Hey man, if the price is reasonable for you to buy the weight, I can go to El Paso and pick em up and get them to you, all you buy is your weight that you are needing! Let me know bro!
