I was wondering what all bloodlines out there have some 90lb-100lbs black monsters.

I've seen a couple black eddington type bred dogs.

Also one big dog named Dually that is dagger bred.

Do yall know of any more?


Also what about the smaller black zebo style dogs? What breeders still have a few of those?

No disrespect to James because it isn't reflected upon him. He is far to busy to be involved with all of it and frankly I'm sure he is worn out from it. What the heck happened? I remember when a lot of good guys got on here and talked dogs with a since of humor and if you posted a question then you got about 15 responses in one day. Now you have to say something that gives someone a shot to start drama or they don't speak at all. Even a lot of good weight pullers out there won't speak to you because of something you said in the past! Are we that immature! We can disagree one day and agree the next. Why are yall so judgmental now? It aint all about dogs you know. We can be totally opposite on our opinions about dogs and still be friends, but I guess some of you don't see that.

What about some of the smaller black dogs? Do any of you know where some good bred dogs are of that size. (30 to 40lbs). I'm looking for one that has the looks of James' dog herbie but carries black genes.

I like a nice square head on those little dogs, most have smaller heads that are more uniform for their size but I like a little bigger noggin on them.

Any clues where to look at a few?

bruce are you really interested in buying a black dog or is this just conversation. richard told you the truth but studly is not the biggest. he had littermates that are in your area that are a lot larger. the people that bred studly are still breeding very well bred black dogs occasionly maybe someone can help you locate them if you are seriously looking.

I know Ernest foster had some breedings going down to produce some dogs and I talked to him like 4 times but he never called or said if they ever dropped or if they are okay or what.

I have a thing for black dogs. I've always liked the look of them better than reds or blues.

Let me know if any in the area are interested in ever doing a breeding or helping me out.

I dont know about the biggest or the smallest but I have 2 black male pups that wont be 6 months until dec 3rd and they are 70 lbs one of them is named Ali and the other is Black Jack thats pretty big I think.

Negative...and no disrespect intended...I do not consider Studley a big dog Johnny...he pulled at a 76 lbs most of the time...no matter what he weighs now...If size is what your looking for in a black dog...Dually is by far the biggest at 129 lbs...! Thanks!

pulling has nothing to do with knowing if its a purebred or not.

we are all about "pit bulls" here, no 100 lb mixbred stuff. dont matter if they could pull or not... that just our preferance, everyone is free to there own.
we weight pull for fun. also do well in conformation.

oklahomacombinekennel, What I meant from my previous post a while back about having dogs that were "GAME" bred was this. If you have a yard full of real game bred dogs then in my opinion your putting yourself out there at a greater risk than the type of dogs that are not "GAME" tested type dogs. Breeding dogs that were once of game dogs to keep a pedigree is one thing, numerous dog men like hammonds and freeman and a bunch of others still do this. They just don't have "GAME" tested dogs all over their yards.

So I guess asking for trouble may have been the wrong words I don't know. I think if you were here talking to me you would have understood what the meaning was behind it. I also know more than you give me credit for but I guess the way I word things sometimes just don't do me any justice.

Yes, I have a lot of learning to do but one thing still stands for me. I'm here to better the breed. I'm not here to represent "Fighting Game APBT's". That day has come and gone. Now what I represent is dogs that come from any background that are still stable, lovable, trainable pets. The image I want for all the apbt's is that they are not monsters. They are just not for everyone and especially not for first time dog owners. I have plenty of friends that have good old blood that is probably similar to yours. I meant no disrespect towards you or any of them either, but the fact remains that if you have a yard full of high strung, old game bred, conditioned dogs then you are taking a risk. Now, between what has happened to Floyd, Pat, and a few others that were small fry not doing anything illegal at all, any added risks is something you have to accept I guess. my response was to whoever was talking trash against the bullies. I agreed tht there are some bad "apples" but you can't really include everyone. I show and pull my bullies-didn't participate too much this year just trying to get my busienss off the ground. I wont know till the pups are born but I am fixing to have pups out of Terrible and black onyx. Terrible is the son of chug a lug and Roxanne.He is currently 10 months old and 100 lbs. I don't know black onyx's pedigree off hand but she is exceptional. I have pictures posted of both of the on my site. Onyx is as black as they come no hint of brown she is blue black. I am sure we should have some black pups. Onyx is a personal favorite of mine. She is too big to meet conformation but in reality other than her size she has perfect conformation. These pups wont disappoint.
