Smoking joe

My name is rachel and I bought a bunch of dogs from a man named joe baker aka smoking joe. We made an agreement that I would pay 200 a month for 3 dogs at 800.00 a piece. I bought a male off mr.rip and 2 females one named pearl and one named luna. I made my payments for the first 2 months and bred them, then when both females went into labor they required cesareans. All of luna's puppies died and pearl almost died but she was able to have 3 healthy puppies. I spoke with joe about all the money I had to shell out for the procedures and we agreed that luna would be canceled off the contract and I would trade one of the puppies for pearls papers. With that agreement I only owed 400 left on the deal. Joe then asked me if I could come get more dogs because he was losing his property and had to re home the dogs. I drove to OK and dropped off the puppy and 100.00. That left me at 300 left for the Male dog. We made an agreement that I would pick up 2 more females and pay 400 for each at 100$ a month due to my own debt to my vet office. I picked up a female out of edge and bates star and a female out of jiggs and fu man chu. I have bred them to my own studs . Now my payment for april was late however I provided proof that the money order was made and sent. I even offered to wire the money the next day!!! But joe doesn't want my money and he is saying he is going to come get the dogs. So then I do some searching on here to find out that he doesn't even have the edge females papers!

If anyone has had dealings with this man please let me know! If anyone knows whats going on with the papers for these dogs please let me know! I have thousand invested in these dogs and now he is trying to screw me!
I really need advice as well as to what I should do. I am going on Monday to place a claim with small claims court but I need to know if there is any other legal action I can take being that he lied to me about her having papers in the first place. please call me at 512-696-8828 thanks
