Why are you guys begging the public to help you with funds to fly JW's body to POM.....thats sounds so low Kas T....cant the bloody recording company(CHM or Whoever) pay for this??? i'm sure they made heaps from selling his album over the years.....why not sponsor this trip. Sem pasin lo askim public yah.....isnt he a legendary musicion as CHM claimed?? if he is then return the favour by giving your support.

Whoosy you have a point but I dont think CHM or any recording company will assist nor did they ask for donations,,,,the posting on the board asking for donations was put up after many music fans like myself wanted to show our "tok tenkiu" by giving a little bit from our pockets and didnt know who or where to channell our toea to.
Even around PNG people have been ringing our local media,FM staions,Newspapers etc on how to give a little toea to John Wong's family as a sign of respect and "tenkiu".His family never asked for it.
Its our melanesian way.

Ps.When PNG's former governor general Sir Ignatius Kilage died years back in 1990,at Unitech we all collected a few toea and donated to his grieving family, they never asked for it,again its a way to help and show our respect...especially to people who have touched us.God bless PNG.
