face off

I just started facing and I wanted to know what the best face off heads were. and what the best moves are ? I also was wondering if anyone had tried pinch a revo to make it a better face off head it so how did it turn out?

I use an evo with hard maesh and its awesome no i didnt pinch it though i like it th e way it is

no doubt a pinched oz is the best faceoff head, but as long as the head you're using is fairly stiff it should be good. I use a my torque for faceoffs and it is pretty good, but i definately would prefer it to be stiffer. that is the only flaw i have found in the torque, in every other respect its amazing.

The faceoff is a unique part of lacrosse, and it basically up to you to decide what your going to do. If you have quick hands, go for a clamp or a sweep, but if you have more power than speed, try to push him off the ball. Just find out what works best. If you want to know about heads, go to stick tech on e-lacrosse. They have an article in November 2001 all about faceoff heads and choosing the right one for you. Good luck.
