You can just stick your pads in the washer. I do this about once a month and they hold up. You DO NOT want to put them in the dryer, but leavng them out to air dry works.
My best tip-of-advice is to take your pads out of your bag and Febreeze them between practice and games. This keeps them smelling fresh.
