I just dyed my sons head yesterday, very easy.

1. Get an old turkey pan
2. Get a box of RIT dye. ($2.95 from store)
3. Boil water
4. Place dye in the pan
5. Remove head and strings from stick. Or leave the strings on if you don't want to restring the head. Make sure you clean the head with dish soap and a brush.
6. As soon as water begins to boil remove from heat and carefully pour the hot water in the pan with the dye.
7. Stir to make sure the dye dissolves.
8. Place the head in the dye for about 15-20 minutes.

Note: If you want some cool designs get a hot glue gun, and glue the head in funky stripes. Go crazy have fun with it.
