How do you guys feel on the way that the media is portraying the duke lax team in such a stereotypical way concerning their wealth? what about the racial aspect of the situation?

I cant believe that u think this is a racial thing. all that happened was a few guys raped a girl and ****ed up the season 4 the whole team.

dude you sound so stupid.this shows your ignorance to think that this has nothng to do with race. thats the whole reason that this situation is so big. of course i beleive that it wrong to rape anyone. if they did it they need to have the book thrown at them. if not them a whole lot of ppl have suffered for nothing. I think that what u saidhappened is pretty close. i think that she is lying because: strippers work all night. she probably worked somewhere else before tha party .She might have been dancing somewhere else and refuse to do sexual favors. the person might have raped her. she probably went to the party mentaly disturbed allready. that could explain y she only danced for such a small period of time. if i payed 800 bucks for some dancin i would wanna see some dancin.now this is where i think the racial aspect comes into veiw. if you just got jiped out of 800 beans you would probbably say some out of line things expecially if your drunk. this Coming from an african amerincan college lacrosse player. i have experienced personally racial tensions at my university and i really expect duke to be no different. there will allways be racial issues in large mixed areas. I have no doubt that these boys taunted her with racial slurs which is worng but i truly do not beleive that they raped her. if i can see and speak on this then i know people on the opposite side of the spectrum can too.
