we are running a competition over next 8 months. entries invited from painters, and models needed too. please look at www.prested.com/bp.htm
to date all entries are amateur and we think there are better potential winners out there!
we are between colchester and chelmsford and operate alternate saturday evenings.

Hi I have wanted to be a model for bodypainting ever since I started painting a few years ago. I have only recently plucked up the courage to actually try and do something about it. I was just worried about my size. I am a wobbily size 12 with not too good D cup boobs!
Was just after some advice really!

I'm working with a few photographer friends on a shoot where we are going to be using silver body paint on our models. I'm looking for a safe, non-translucent, silver body paint that will not smear (the models will be touching). I have no preference of oil based or water based paints (or even something else completely different).
After researching online and contacting a few Stage Makeup companies out in Las Vegas, I'm perplexed as to the pros and cons of using liquid latex vs body paint. Any suggestions/comments are GREATLY appreciated!
Looking for silver in Arizona, USA...

How long lasting do you want it to be? What is it for, a costume, a fashion parade, a night out, a photoshoot? Is it for a base colour or detail?
Good metallic paints are the Fardel ones which have a lovely range of shades in thier metallics. However they have a more matte look, a super shiny silver would be something like the graftobian or ben nye powders applied with a little baby oil. Its super shiny but doesn't have great staying power.

Hi Emma
I have been trying to contact you for a while now through e-mail without success and I appreciate you might be out of the country. Would you perhaps give me your phone number and we could talk when you have time?
Kind regards
Ann

In case you hadn't heard, steps are being taken to form a British Bodypainting Association. We're thinking of doing a calender for 2007 to help raise funds to get us up and running and we wondered if you might have some pictures you would like to submit - some new work. It would be great if you'd like to get involved both as a member and in the calender. If your interested please drop me a line asap as well need to move fast to get this up and running!
Hope your well.

Just wondering if there were any models out there who are going and have not linked up with anyone yet. I'm looking for models for myself and several others for the festival - so if anyone is interested please let me know.
Thanks
