I don't know about 'stupid' people, maybe just simply oblivious or not fully aware of the dangers that lurk in their area. I for one have just bought a place in a bushland suburb of Sydney and we were very, very cognisant of the dangers presented by living close to bush (ie not having a property that faced onto bush to the north or west etc etc). And what is the reference to Victorians having a high death toll got to do with it? Where did the reference to the road toll come in????????????
I support the idea of a large a'c that the Vic Govt is seeking. it may save some lives in the future, isn't that what we are all in the interest of doing???
