The 'Wagga and District Scale Model Club' held their annual model show over the preceeding weekend. Significant rainfall and associated flooding conditions in the region threatened a number of events in the City; however, the show did go on and many people from right across Region, were thankfully able to (safely) attend (and somehow get home again !!).
Although a relatively small Club and 'show event' by National standards - organisers' have prevailed with the show for many years now and it seems the event is gaining in popularity each year. Attendances from Albury, Canberra, Corowa, Sydney, Melbourne and the Snowy Mountain region are the 'norm'. The club has a website, which can be viewed by 'clicking' here: http://www.wdsmc.org/
For those interested, I have provided a smattering of images (below) from the event. Unfortunately, I left my tripod at home - which wreaked havok when taking photo's in the low light conditions. The shiny green felt/underlay used by organisers', also created issues when using a flash. So, I apologise for the poor quality of many of the images.
