... by kit manufacturers' - yet, we hear little whinging to that effect. Maybe it's not as popular as I once perceived it to be !?
I can't understand how G.A. kits representing the 'stars' of Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, De Havilland, Hawker Siddeley, Grob, SAAB, AESL, Grumman et al - haven't been produced in appropriate scales (1:48 / 1:32) and quantities, long before now ?
Not all aviation modellers' (or, modellers' in general) are strictly military centric in their subject interests. There HAS TO BE an untapped market out there for injection moulded G.A. aircraft ... surely, there has to be ??
I know Minicraft produce a series of C-172's and Piper 140 in 1:72 scale. And, I also have the 1:20 Nichimo Cessna 172 (monster of a thing !!) - but, we really need a decent series of these aircraft in 1:48 and/or 1:32 scale/s.
I guess if enough of 'us' get together and send some of the major producers a petition style 'letter of interest' - then perhaps 'something' might happen ? Daryl Williams et al were able to lobby Hasegawa to re-release the F-111C/G ... so, I guess stranger things can happen

I'm with TOR too - in that I'd love to see far more 'Bizjets' (and Airliner subject matter) gracing the hobby shop shelves !
Realistically - what is really, really missing - is a decent 1/48 H.S. S.2B Buccaneer !!

Warmest regards,
