Hi all

Just a heads up... Legend productions have released a coversion kit for the AFV M88 kit .. We now have the M88A2 right? the only thing on the kit we could leave off would be the MG nest on the turret ring...Is there any difference between an Aussie M88A2 & the US M88A2..not that i'll probably build one but might help someone out there might might wanna have a go.

regards
AJ

Now with camo...good Aussie conversion!

A great choice of conversion, other than as Andrew says, other than no machine gun nest shields, same as US version.

re M88A2 Conversion

June 7 2010, 1:13 PM

See,

I just knew if I started my own scratch conversion someone would make one when I was halfway through (yeah, I knew about the Real Model conversion which, apparently, is a bit of a dog...).

http://www.www-legend.co.kr/01_afv01.html?table=product&st=view&page=1&id=462&limit=&keykind=&keyword=&bo_class=1&fpage=&spage=

$US68 from Luckymodel if anyone's keen, Firestorm are quoting $A78 as a 'coming soon' item. Looks to be good quality but I'm already too far in debt to the Evergreen styrene sheet company to justify the cost so I think I'll crack on with mine (gotta re-do the armour on the lower front as I guessed the shape and was a bit off). Tempting though...

Any more pics of the new cam scheme? That's the first I've seen anywhere.

Cheers,
Rod

Took these myself, (they are cleared) hope to do the new conversion myself. Real said they were going to re-do theirs but so far nothing. No photos of the Legend one that I can find yet.[linked image]
