it will always open that size till you resize it again.

just to to the top of the window and the side and when you see an arrow just pull the window to the edges and top/bottom. Then it should open that size when you open it again. Oh did you use a link on the main page to get here? If so I have it opening this page in a window but it is a normal size window that fills the page...so I hope that is not the problem. let me know...
