Doyle ran forwards right behind Spike.
Tara meanwhile had been thinking hard, direct magical attacks didn't work on these demons but confusion tactics might. Working fast she created a mist that only the good guys could see through. Then she created many doubles of Spike, Faith and Doyle, mirror images if you like. They were easily seen by the evil demons yet they weren't actually there, this confused the demons greatly, they didn't know which ones to attack. Unfortunately for Tara while she was using her magic she was extremely vunerable to attack. The demons could sense power and would not rest until they found the source, one of the demons did,
"You have great power witch," it spat, putting its hands on her head. This caused Tara to scream and collapse as her magic seemed to blow a fuse. The doubles of Faith, Spike and Doyle disappeared and the magickal mist vanished. The demons turned on the fighters. Doyle was floored by a punch but was quickly back on his feet and fighting again.
The demon that had stopped Tara's magick now stood over her unconsious body about to finish her off. Dawn couldn't take it anymore, she ran out from her hiding place and jumped on the demons back, "Get away from her," she screamed at the demon.
