      It may be safe to label BS as a cult film. It certainly has gained a large contingent of followers.

      But one aspect that is missing, that I think is very important in classifying a film as a "cult film" is time. I don't think there's an agreed upon standard with this regards, but I think a "cult film" has to be around for many years (15-20+?) before it is widely considered cult.

      Of course, just my opinion but hope it helps you.
