In the movie do they say the two brothers are from Ireland or something? They have a strange accent that definitely isn't Boston. It doesn't sound Irish either, but I have never been to Ireland so who knows. I know they are actors but still...might as well make them talk normal.




Hmmm....I am from Massachusetts so yeah.

Of course they're Irish, that's a given (hence the fact that Rocco calls them a couple of Mics=Male Irish Catholic and if you watch the deleted scenes you see their mother celebrating saint patty's day in Ireland itself.

It also doesn't help matters that Flannery and Reedus do a poor job at the Irish accents.
