Last night at Palm was the best. Love all gigs, but last night was the best. Good meeting other fans from this site. Just introduce yourself like Chezzi did. I was front row but by the end of the night had to push myself to front of stage, everyone decides to stand and dance. Mahalia was excellent and did Proud Mary for me again. Thanks Mahalia, is a great song and you do it the best. I was lucky lucky lucky, got a drumstick. All night kept warning hubbie, stand and catch the stick. We got it. YAHOO Get it added to my framed drumskin now. Will put a pic on later. Love all the merchandise. Got little baby tshirts. Will be getting my niece and nephew one of those.

It was good to meet you and Mikey last night, as it's nice to put a face to the people you read on the message board. It was the best show, Jimmy did a very long show, and it's a wonder he can keep it up night after night!!! Great set of songs, new ones as well as the old ones. Loved when the War is over, and loved Mahalia's set, gee I can see the difference having your own songs, and band and doing shows on her own. Fantastic voice, can't get over it. And Mahalia really pours her heart and soul into it. But then again, don't they all????
Great night, didn't get to bed until about 3, I was so wound up I couldn't sleep.

Just letting you all know, another great night at Palm. Bonnie helped Mahalia because of her sore throat. She is good. See you all Tuesday. Should be more weeks like these. What a dream.
