So they say he's an old rocker in his fifties that should be slowing down.

They also say he's got a dodgy heart and maybe needs to take it easy on stage.

Someone mentioned he had a shocking head cold as well last night.

WELL, ALL I CAN SAY IS WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!!!

Last night's 4th show at the Palms was simply one of the most enjoyable JB shows for many a day.

The great man was on absolute fire. If he had the head cold it must have helped his singing not hindered it. He was in superb form.

Tremendous stuff Jim.

You blew us away last night.

I didnt see you at Palm last night. I was there, up the front as usual. It was a bloody good night, like they all have been. You would have no idea he was suffering from a head cold. Didnt even sould like he had a cold when he spoke. I think good on him for doing what he can. He does not look old. Whover was saying that is talking crap. We all know he is the best.

I missed speaking to you but I did see you from afar.

Also Scott Podmore (the man responsible for the great Jimmy Icons book) and his wife Kerry were there and rocking away with the rest of us.

As the hours since the show roll by the night gets better and better on reflection.

I was rapt - JB is and always will be "the man".
