As my premiere post in this group I would like to say that there are fans of Jimmy also here in the northern hemisphere. I am from Finland and have been a fan of Cold Chisel and Jimmy for near 30 years. Even though Jimmy has played quite a lot over here during his solo career I have never seen him perform live. This spring/fall I will not repeat my mistakes and am travelling to Germany to catch at least one show in Berlin. It is great to see him doing so well again after the surgery. There will be many more screaming nights still to come.
Just to say hi to everyone here and wishing a great time in upcoming JB shows down under and over here too!
Welcome back Mikko. I remember your legendary posts from the Chisel forum.
Good to hear that you are going to the Berlin show. Any plans to come to the dutch shows?
by the way if u are near from the location of john hiatt's concert in finland, tomorrow there s a concert i guess it's worth to listen to his music, even though is last album is more country sound....

New album and European setlist
July 30 2008, 6:52 AM
Eagerly waiting to see my hero live in Berlin. Being a huge
Chisel fan as well I would like to see some of the old standards
in Jimmys setlist. Pretty sure Khe Sanh and Flame Trees are there.
He also penned some of the great Chisel rockers like My Turn To Cry and
You Got Nothing I Want. With songs from his own catalogue should be a cracking
show. I really like the new album too.
What do you guys think should be included in his setlist outside the
absolute must songs?
can u please include a few or all of the following trax during the european gigs
Seven days
Still got a long way to go
All the young dudes
Catch your shadow
Dock of the bay
Change of heart
Driving wheels
Last frontier
It'll be allright
Blue hotel ( isnt Neil around for a Duett )
Rain
